DEAD BOLTS - Never use a door dead bolt that is keyed on both sides. The reason is very simple, if a fire breaks out inside the house and the dead bolt key cannot be found, a person could be trapped in the house . Always use a dead bolt that can be open from the interior with a simple turn latch.
